The RPG

Yendar received a weekend pass from the Gun Frontier base located in the Harbour of Nubitradon and he wanted to spend some time out in the deserts of Rencor so he might catch a large flornatron to show to his new found friends back on base. A flornatron is a reptile creature that grows up to 4 ft long and has multiple rows of jagged teeth. It is fast moving and very aggressive but the skin is worth more money than he makes in a weeks salary.

Upon arriving outside the desert of Rencor in a small town that neighbored the area he wanted to concentrate his efforts on, he noticed no one was walking the streets like normal. All the windows and doors were either boarded up or locked. As Yendar walked the main street he noticed a poster that read:

Our sheriff has gone missing and an criminal is thought to be responsible. If anyone finds this criminal and turns him into the proper authorities he/she will receive proper compensation for their time and effort.

Yendar saw this as a better way to earn a little extra money so he decided he would blow off the flornatron hunt until he received another weekend pass from base. There was a problem though, he didnt know what the criminal looked like or where he might be. So Yendar decided to walk down to the sheriffs office and see if there may be any more information there that could help him find the criminal.

Something was off about the sheriffs office, it was the only building in town that didnt have the doors and windows locked up tight. Yendar payed extra attention to detail as he approached the sheriff's office. Next he noticed that there was a cup of steaming hot coffee outside on the handrail, but no one around it. Then he heard a wooden floor board creak inside the office.

Yendar: Hello!?

There was no answer but someone was inside, he knew there was and he took even more precaution since the did not answer him back. He moved his right hand onto the hilt of his gravity saber, he was at the ready pull draw it at a moments notice. He cautiously stepped onto the porch of the building saber half drawn now.

Yendar: Hello!? I'm looking for more information on the criminal that has the bounty on his head.

Not a second after Yendar got those words out of his mouth a man jumped out from inside the doorway thrusting his saber at Yendar's stomach. Yendar was half heartedly expecting some kind of a cowardly move like this as he approached the doorway and jumped to his left avoiding the figures saber. Before the man could reposition his feet Yendar gave a stiff left hook with all his might and drew his own sabre. The blow from Yendar sent the man crashing to the wooden porch floor and his sabre out into the street, knowing that the situation couldn't have happened any better, Yendar knelt down with one knee in the middle of the mans back and the tip of Yendar's sabre at the base of the mans skull.

Yendar: Put your hands straight out to your sides or die here! Why did you attack me?!

Strange man: Because I'm the criminal that has taken over the town! Please dont kill me, my gang will pay more for you to release me than the civil reward would pay you. Honest!

Yendar: Alright, if your telling the truth then contact them and tell them your being held for ransom and if the money isnt paid by sunset the you will never see another sunrise.

Yendar searched the man for any weapons and threw him in a jail cell. He then broadcasted the ransom notice to mans gang and waited for sunset.

Soon a robot man was seen in the distance approaching quickly, Yender took notice of this and jumped to his feet. "I have a letter from Count Mecha" The robot  told the pirate, Yender took the letter from the machine man and began to read it.

"Dear Pirate,

It is very unfortunite you happened to capture one of my top hunters, Maybe he triped and fell and you just wouldn't allow him to get up. It makes me wonder how some no name outlaw could capture someone of his status. I will offer you a miserble sum of 25,000 credits deposited into your bank if you happen to release him alive. If that doesn't interest you, then kill him and collect his pocket change of a bounty. Your choice.

                                                                                           Count Mecha"

Yendar read the letter and thought for a moment to himself. He turned to the cell door and unlocked it telling the criminal he had exactely 45 seconds to disappear from sight or he would become moving target practice. As the criminal and the robot disappeared from view Yendar left the disolate desert town to return to his military barracks.
