The RPG

Yendar was on his way to watch a dune race in the desert when a young woman approached him on the street.

Girl: Please take this map, my father will end up dying if he treks into the desert again following this. He is about to come out of the restuarant there, please. Take it and run so I can tell him it was stolen.

Yendar: I'm not taking some old man's map! What the hell is it supposed to let me to?

Girl: He says it leads to a city of gold, but he never makes it more than a couple miles into the desert before he starts having a stroke. PLEASE!

Yendar: Fine!

Yendar grabbed the map and ran, disappearing into a dark alley only stopping once he had ran over 3 miles from where the girl had confronted him. He looked at the map and decided to investigate it.

Yendar: What the hell, I really dont have anything better to do.

So with that yendar set out into the desert, following the old man's map.
