The RPG

In the darkness of cold space, lights begin flashing in the distance. Curiousity takes over and you close in. 3 small pirate vessels are terrorising a merchant vessel. As you arrive, the cargo ship gets destroyed. You are still unnoticed by the pirates and can escape freely, however if you don't stop these guys, someone else will.

Yendar knew that the odds were against him even though he had size and strength to his advantage, so he opened up on the pirates before they had a chance to engage him. He armed the missles to his Hawk Cruiser and brought the Plasma and Laser Turrets online. He launched 5 missles at each of the 3 small vessels and opened the plasma turrets up on the one to the far left, the laser turrets up on the one on the far right. The missles exploded causing heavy damage to each of the 3 ships and the plasma turrets destroyed the ship to Yendar's far left. The ship on the far right that was being bombarded with laser turret fire turned and launched it's own missles at Yendar's Hawk Cruiser. Just before impact, Yendar was able to get a few shots with the plasma turret off destroying the ship that launched the missles. The one pirate vessel remaining had turned and was trying to flee the scene but Yendar's Hawk Cruiser was slightly faster and was able to come within missle range.

Yendar: You can't leave before you open this present!

Yendar fired 2 missles that was more than enough to obliterate the remaining pirate ship. Yendar looked around the void of space that the battle has just taken place in. It was filled with debris from the destroyed ships as well as some peices of Yendar's hawk.

Yendar: Well I might as well search through this debris and see if anything of value survived the battle. Then I need to get on to Titan and get this heap of mine repaired.
